On May 2017, Easy Global Market participed in a series of international events for oneM2M interoperability. EGM brings its expertise in the global standards initiative for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and the Internet of Things (IoT), through its membership in ETSI – European Telecommunications Standards Institute, participating in research projets such as ARMOUR, in working groups such as ETSI Specialist Task Force 525 on Intelligent Transports Systems Interoperability Validation Framework, ETSI Specialist Task Force 531 on SmartM2M conformance testing for oneM2M specifications, OneM2Mtester initiative…
EGM participated in the fourth oneM2M Interop event organized by III (Institute for Information Industry, Taiwan) and TTA, ETSI, founding partners of the oneM2M Partnership Project. Held from May 16 to 19th in Taipei, Taiwan, it aims to check the primitive’s interoperability using one of the protocol bindings defined in the oneM2M standards (HTTP, CoAP, MQTT or WebSocket) and to check end-to-end functionality on oneM2M interfaces Mca and Mcc. EGM presented its test-as-a service platform providing a ready to go interface for certification laboratories and oneM2M developers willing to certify their implementations as well as getting pre-certification services for their development. This interoperability event offered test sessions where companies can assess the level of interoperability of their implementations and verify the correct interpretation of the oneM2M standards.
This event was a good introduction and preparation for the oneM2M Technical Plenary meeting, organized from 22 to 26 May 2017, in Shenzhen, China. A good opportunity to tighten links with our partners and present an update of our on-going work in the field. For this edition, an “Industry Day” was included in the agenda, gathering oneM2M experts and all other stakeholders and verticals in the M2M / IoT industry. A good initiative, focusing on specific industry implementations and stakes, directly corresponding with EGM strategy, gathering dedicated transversal expertise to offer dedicated solution, complying with specific needs and constraints of each field of activity. During this event, with OneM2Mtester partners, Easy Global Market presented the test-a-a-service platform and espcially the testing service for oneM2M conformance, based on the open source Eclipse Titan.
